Camaro: How to lift a wife's spirits
What a year! After 40 some-odd years of reasonbly good health, my wife and I have suddenly been hit with a double whammy. My wife had a brain aneurysm causing mini-strokes and they found I had a heart issue, aggrevated by the anxiety of my wifes issues. After many months of consults, testing and surgeries, we are both nearly back to normal. All surgeries were done via catheters, and it is astounding what can be accomplished this method and how quickly the healing process is.
So, since my wife has taken such a hit to her mortality mindset, I decided it was time that she realize that life is too precious and needs to be enjoyed more. After staring at the picture of this as wallpaper on my computer for over a year, I decided that it was time to make her dream come true. We traded in her 30k, 04 Monte Carlo LS for her dream car in her favorite color:
2011 Synergy Green LS V6 auto
Thank you lord for our employment, health insurance and friends help to be able to make it through all of this.

THAT is a gorgeous car! I don't think i have seen that color before.
I always swore never to be a "some day" person (kids leave home, retire, etc.) to do things if i could afford them. "Some day" could pass you by ...
Being able to say I have traveled the world and lived abroad and educated myself make me see that we need to live life when we can as it can be so fleeting and lose it so fast.
I am glad you did this -- it is never too late and great that you are both able to enjoy it all.
Thanks for sharing.
