yeah i took it off and stripped all the bolts and brackets off of it. probably 20 min to take off and put on. 3hrs for paint to cure enough to block sand the ecotec on it. simple job just dont be in a hurry when you do it and be careful with your gaskets. I wanted a red close to the old lt4 intakes so i used vht brake paint from autozone. $7.50

That is just beautiful. I can tell you took very special care in selecting the colors. Great Job. I'll bet it even looks better in person.

wiped all the oil out of the bottom
sprayed the whole thing with brake parts cleaner &
wiped it off with a rag
scuffed the whole piece with scotch brite pad real good
wiped down again this time with preps all cleaner (autozone)
sprayed
