SS vs Grand Prix GXP

I was getting on the thruway yesterday morning, and as I was coming up the on ramp I see a very nice looking, teal GXP. I merge, and then put my foot to the floor (he was about a half a car ahead of me) and blow past him and hit about 90MPH. I let off a bit and then I see him tailgating me. So both lanes open up and I move to the right lane. He punches it and nearly catches me before I put my foot down again and slowly pull about 2 cars ahead.

When I let him catch up to me, I nod and give him the "peace" sign, as he waves and has a half smirk, half smile on his face, like "wtf just happened?"

On a side note I just took the SS to Richmond VA for the nascar races this past weekend. I had 2 other passengers, 3 sets of golf clubs, and clothes/supplies for all of us. This awesome car got 30.9 MPGs(untuned of course) for the 1087 mile trip

Yea at least the gxp is a respectable car. Some of these ricers are getting a little ridiculous now that its warming up around here.

I could still see the Pontiac in my mirror. The civic hatchbacks disappear quickly
