I'm sitting at the dealer now getting the kit installed and i just talked to tom he said he is getting calls non stop about the kits so price will be going up real soon

I just called http://www.crateenginedepot.com/ the prices went up to $750.

I ordered mine from crateenginedepot.com at 12:30 today and got the 550 price although it was 601 with shipping and tax.

I concur.

I guess I could have gone over to g-lake and picked it up, but then again with all the snow, and the pending price change, I just swallowed the shipping charges.

$750 is GM list price for this kit. Tom Henry Racing quoted me $630 based on the $750 list price; I ended up buying it from Crate Engine Depot for $562 to the door.
