I like the cover myself. It gives a different look.

I like the cover. Cleans up the look.
( except for the hands/camera reflection in the last picture. )
One question though. How is the air filter assembly going to be mounted ? Will the cover interfere with it ?

Haha, one picture had my pretty face in it. sorry took it out.

No interference, because it's a sky. Air filter is in front of car.

I was thinking the cover may break up some of the red. I was planning on coating the compressor housing red too.

Nice cover, but I'm thinking it might cause heat issues reflected back into the head!!
But hey I'm not one for LS7's and their engine covers.
Is it possible to change those mounting bolts to polished stainless steel button heads?

I appreciate what your saying about heat. I am not worried about it. Funny thing is, on the Sky they put the same foam as covering the injector pump over the whole valve cover then the plastic engine cove over that.

As far as bolts. what I am using are studs with acorn nuts. I agree I need something more shiny! Thanks

Hard to see in pictures, yes you would be limited to shine!

For my 2.2 K&N air box , the install kit had studs to thread into the valve cover then long nuts and bolts to screw in from the top

Check pictures 12 & 13 in this in page 2 of 2

Thanks Oldblue! After you showed the screws I was thinking about some threaded spacers. I will search the spacers Friday. Then I just need to find the polished button heads. That will look much better. Thanks again.

here is what i came up with.

Bolts I found, couldn't find polished ones.

I had to polish the bolt heads and washers myself.

Installed. Thanks Oldblue! Much cleaner look

House cleaning would be nice. Thanks Oldblue!
