ADM Turbo Back Exhaust

Who do I get in touch with to get the ADM exhaust? I read there are different set ups (muffler, diameter pipe, etc.) with this system. Is this true? Any info is appreciated.

ADM left the HHR platform a long time ago.

Currently the 2.0 boasts a 2.5" tubing, 2.5" DP, and a pretty restrictive cat.

The aftermarket exhaust systems are 3" setups. Look at Hann and Magnaflow #16811.

There are also several DP offerings from off-road to hi-flow cat also in a 3
" setup.

I did the Magnaflow #16811 muffler and had my local shop make me a exhaust system and down pipe catless and with the y-pipe for my DMH Electric Cutout

I also have in the past bought the muffler of choice and had my local shop do a 3" stainless steel pipe ran cat back and delete the catalytic converter. Any ideas on a muffler/cat delete(down pipe) or setup for a custom exhaust? On my previous car I had a tune to cancel out the CEL to run the 3". Will the GM tune allow this?

SW- I think he is talking about "Stainless Works". One or two guys have this. Most have custom or off the shelf.

To clear up a little confusion....

if you leave your CAT and DP, then you don't have to re-tune for the exhaust. The GMTU cancels the ECM's Learn-Down feature. However, GCSD is correct when he states that CEL's will be thrown with an aftermarket DP w/without CAT's.

Also, be carefull. The 2.0 has an extra O2 sensor, and requires 2 bungs no matter what. ZZP, has the bungs at the wrong angle and needs a tune to work properly. HANN has 2 bungs and is the only company offering a longer DP for the Automatic. You can also get a DP with a hi-flow cat and 2 bungs that won't require a re-tune although you may occasionally throw a clearable cel (O2 related)

the HP gains are most noticable from the DP (around 15-20) the exhaust gets you maybe another 7hp.

With the comp systems in these motors your best bet is to GMTU first, add all your mods, then re-tune for effect.(Trifecta, or HP) either of these tunes are good, just make sure you get a good tuner.

Happy modding
