Aftermarket Intake

Hey all, I'm looking to soon change the origional air filter box to an aftermarket cone style filter intake. I use to have the K&N intake, but got rid of that. Any ideas on what to go with, and the size of cone filter I would need? Thanks in advance.

I would bet they are adding a piece to isolate the filter from hot engine compartment air..just a guess though.

They have not really decided yes or no to revise intake
They have been testing filters and other oddities...

Stock setup still shows be best option currently don't care what anyone else claims

I am wanting to add an intake as well just to get that box off of the engine. Looks pretty tacky IMO. I want to see a company make an intake that relocates the windshield washer reservoir to the front and puts the intake in its place above the engine mount with heat a shield. Until then Ill just put up with the goofy looking box.

If somebody would just make a relocate kit for the wiper fluid box we could use the k&n Sri made for the cobalt

Eco, I have to agree. I kept bugging Bill and Aubry at HAHN about their cai, after a year in development Bill told me himself in an email, that Chevy got it right from the get go, and our current air flow is sufficient. So they stopped development. He said if I wanted a little extra, try upping the diameter of the flex tube coming from the fender well to the airbox
