Any SS tuners in Oklahoma?
I'm a relatively new HHR SS owner (2008) and, admittedly don't know much about these computer cars as my history has mainly been with 64-72 Chevelles.
Anyway, I keep reading about getting a 'tune' and assume it's some way of reprogramming the onboard computer for more horsepower and/or better fuel mileage on the highway - am I even close?
I'm in southern Oklahoma (Lawton). If anyone knows of a good place to take the car anywhere between here and, say Tulsa to get a professional to look at the car and get a cost it'd be appreciated.

Welcome.
Most people go one of two routes when it comes to tuning. Trifecta or HP Tuners. Both are done by downloading a new tune file to your car through the OBD2 port. Each has its pros and cons and either can be done remotely. Meaning, you don't have to be near the person tuning your car. All files and data logs can be emailed back and forth.
