Anyone Have Stage Kit Installed near Atlanta/North GA

I've talked to every dealership I know in the North Atlanta area and have yet to find one experienced with the Stage Kit. Found a few willing but I would rather know the dealership has experience (and so I don't get ripped on labor). With the Atlanta tuner market I KNOW there's upgraded HHR's around by now.

Well, I've now talked to approximately 40 dealerships and only 1 says to have installed the kit. They're telling me 2 hours labor so I guess that's about as good as I'm going to get.

Out of the entire lot of service departments, about 20 didn't even want to try and said call elsewhere

2 hours is good. Make a agreement that they will hold to that.

The kit is not hard to install and any skilled tech should be able to install it.

The first time is just a learning experience and just takes time to learn on the first one. So the agreed amount is a much for any first time installer.

Hendrick Chevy in Duluth says 2 hours.

The only other dealership I found that had experience (all on Solstice's though, not HHR's) was Bill Holt Chevy/Pontiac in Ellijay but they wanted 3 hours labor.

Scratch that...LOL. 3 hours labor in Ellijay is actually cheaper than 2 in Atlanta. I'm going to Ellijay

I'll update once I go. Due to my travel schedule it'll likely be May 1 before I get up there. Possibly April 24 if everything goes smoothly at work.

Just out of curiosity, did you talk to anyone at Maxie Price Chevrolet in Loganville? I am curious because I am looking at an HHR SS on their lot and if I make an offer, I may incorporate the Stage I kit installation as a condition of sale.

Thanks.

Yep.....sure did. They said try Hendrick (who claims to have installed a couple and told me 2 hours). However, it is cheaper for me to go to Ellijay due to Atl. labor rate
