Anyone make a 3 inch Downpipe with a CAT on it?
And where are the dyno numbers from the new Flaco tune?
They were slammed on Monday was going today then I got called into work Part-Time @ $27.00 an hour you can't turn that down. Maybe tomorrow I can dyno. And I might be doing some driving with the cut-out open I'll never tell..
Do you guys know if a downpipe would void my warranty or not. I called my dealer about the intercooler piping and they said I will be ok. Also should I do one with a cat or no cat? I don't mind the smell and all they do for emissions here is plug the car in for codes. Thanks in advance
Will do. Bill over at hahn told me I wouldn't even see a difference unless I ran a bigger turbo. Which I won't do because the warranty is too good Every car ice owned I ran a cat on so I mind as well keep going. Thanks XXL
XXL, have you seen inside our stock cats? Looks pretty restrictive to me. I can take pictures if you like.
I don't think you'll notice a permanent difference in peak HP due to the learn down and turbo limitations, but I think you'll see a difference in throttle response and power under the curve. Also, you might see a permanent HP difference if you get the stage tune because there is no learn down.

XXL makes a good point about high flow cats. I wasn't considering that.
Here's a picture for you anyway, since I know you like those.
