B&M Short shifter # 45187 Help ?

Today i was given a B&M short shifter (part # 45187) From a guy that totaled his 2007 cobalt SS (That sucks !) It is new in the box.

The instructions say it's for a 2005 and up ion redline, and for a 2005 and up cobalt SS

Will this work for my 2008 HHR SS 5-speed ? I hope it will.
May be someone here knows .
Thanks in advance for any info.

Chris

Not sure if it matters for this application, but the F35 Saab trans is common to the following vehicles:

2004-2007 Saturn ION Red Line
2005–2007 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Supercharged
2008–2009 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Turbocharged
2008-2009 Chevrolet HHR SS Turbocharged
Saab 9-3
Saab 9-5
