Yup, if you have an android tablet or cellphone, get a $12 obdII bluetooth adapter off ebay and download the torque app.

That one is great, and I own it. However it will only read the ECM, not the TCM or the ABS. You will need to head up to the $200 models for those.

If you know where to look Scanmaster is also available for the ELM327 adapters. It will run on a laptop and is a bit more full-figured.

I have a bluetooth adapter and the Torque app, they have done some upgrades to the product. I believe I saw ABS and knock and stuff like that
