A BIG Thanks to More_Torque_More_HP

I want to say thanks to More_Torque_More_HP and all those who helped research the necessary fixes to install the Tubo Upgrade kit in the HHR SS!

I just got home from the dealer's install of my "Turbo upgrade kit", and all I can say is AWESOME! I have not ever had such a boost in the performance for the dollar as this mod. Now I know there are tuners out there doing a great job on tuning and mods, but to go to the dealer, where there is nationwide support for the mod you just had done, and warranty, thats a pretty good deal. To me, its worth it not to have to worry about getting the tune out of the car before taking it in for any warranty work.
Of course it was 0 F this morning, and I could only get 7-8 psi boost in 2 thru 5th. On the way home, 8 F, 17-18 in any gear that I could get traction in.
3rd gear was having tire slippage with the cold pavement tonite.

PS: Be sure and check the thread https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/2-0l-performance-tech-46/gm-performance-parts-turbo-upgrade-kit-19891/
to get the proper wiring for the HHR SS version, its different than the instructions supplied, and also for install tips.

HHR SS wiring diagram as listed in another thread here

X4, what they said. It's nice that someone from GM takes the time to participate in these forums! Hopefully we can help you with feedback.

I've had that name since the beginning of internet time, even before the first version of AOL took 5 minutes to load a page that had NO pictures, and my
S-10 Jimmy had a LT1 in it.
