What needs to be done in order to install a BOV? I'm looking to have on installed I'm running the stock turbo but unsure what I need to get.

Dejon intercooler piping with a BOV flange welded on.. blockoff plate and a tune... let me know if you want to know how to hook it up... do not run it if youre not getting tuned

i honestly highly recommend just sticking with the stock bpv setup. there's nothing wrong with it and doesn't require a tune.

yes you read that right, a bov requires a tune.

but if you absolutely insist that you want it then here's a parts list to do a PROPER bov setup.

bov (obviously)
hot side charge pipe with bov flange
bpv block off plate
cold side charge pipe with MAF relocate kit
custom tune

Thanks for the reply. That's what I thought and sounds like more trouble than it's worth. Also I was reading about a forged BPV should I consider this as a option? If anyone has one installed did it change the way the car sounds?

I installed my bov without maf relocated I have never had any problems. I didn't need a tune either had the GM stg.1 tune in there it's work just fine.

Thats what you think... check your fuel trims while driving and watch them spike on shifts

i had the Forged BPV, didn't notice any difference. so i sold it. it's not a bad piece, just unnecessary unless your stock bpv goes down (which is rare).

if you're looking for more noise, get a new hot side charge pipe, it'll help a little bit.

i know my stock bpv is quite loud.

what are your LTFT's looking like? you might not notice it but it's probably not liking it.
