BSR owners...
Other than the single ss on the rear, mine is de-badged. I played with the bsr badges, but in the end stayed with the "clean" look. Never been one for badges and decals, but I painted my calipers red back in '68 on my Z28, and now that is actually acceptable on Ferraris, Porsches, and Corvettes (go figure, since some folks thought it looked silly back then).
On the topic of badges c2vette was it easy to debadge your's? I would love to do that so more people can say WTF is that. Just a little unsure of the best way to do it with out scratching anything. Any thoughts?
I waited until late afternoon sun had heated things up a bit. Then I used a plastic scraper (like the ones Homey Depot sells in the sheetrock area for $0.79) with a soft cloth wrapped around it. I pried them up and off... then cleaned up the residue with same soft cloth soaked with plenty of mineral spirits and a dab of elbow grease. Voila. Don't forget to put some wax back on those areas as the mineral spirirs strip the wax.
Not original here, but forget who described it. Slather on a bunch of wax around the badge then (wearing leather gloves) wrap some fishing line around a finger on each hand and saw the line back and forth through the backing tape. That is the quick part. The tape residue is a pain to remove, I use WD40 and my thumbnails and a lot of patience. A few polish and wax sessions and the residue is eventually gone. Good Luck!

thats pretty much how i do it when im debadging, or if i dont have finshing line handy just use a heat gun to warm the glue up and pry them off. just becareful if youve never used a heat gun before lol ive used goo gone before for residue, or an eraser on a drill works great. allot of times as said good ole thumb is the answer. we had our ss for about two days before all the pinstriping and badges came off except for the ss ones. their still there since i havnt had the time or cash to start modding another car yet.
