You could order from Crate Engine Depot $550 US, plus shipping. He ships to Canada

No duty on automotive parts manufactured in the USA.

I just got mine from crate, and it showed up at my door for not a cent more than I paid to crate for it.

$584.95 US shipped to my door.

I was going to try and ship mine to my door but shipped it to my US mail box and then brought it in. Let me know how you make out with install cost. I have been to the local dealer and did not like what they had to say about installing cost before they had even read how to do it.

You can appeal that. Under NAFTA, automotive parts manufactured in the United States are duty free. You should not have to pay duty on these items.

In addition, all NAFTA originating vehicles and parts imported from the U.S. may enter Canada duty-free, as well as some NAFTA originating vehicles and parts imported from Mexico. By January 1, 2003, all NAFTA originating vehicles and parts imported from Mexico may enter Canada duty-free. Vehicles may also be imported duty-free under the Canada–U.S. Automotive Trade Products Agreement (Auto Pact).
