CEL after Stage 1

Okay guys, I know there are two known codes if the wires are installed incorrectly but i am not getting that code. I am getting a different one code. I told the dealer and gave the dealer the new TSB for the install but was simply told, this code has nothing to do witht he install. The finished the install yesterday at 2:15. I called at 3:15 today and they still have the car with NO CLUE as to what is causing this. The code its throwing is P0263 Cylinder 1 Contribution/Balance Fault. WTF does that mean? Home some one can shed some light for me. Thanks Guys!

P0263 doesn't show to be a GM trouble code. And I find nothing in the manual with that wording.

Here is a list of the diagnostic trouble codes also.

I will call the Dealership and get it again. He might have written it down incorrectly. But I agree. Seems like that is a Ford code, moreso for the Powerstroke.

I believe it could have something to do with the install. Here is what the manual states:

P0236 - Engine Cranking
The ECM detects when the engine is cranking that the boost pressure sensor signal plus a calibrated threshold is not within range of a model derived from the BARO sensor, the MAP sensor, and the boost pressure sensor for more than 2 seconds.

P0236 - Engine Idling
• The ECM detects when the engine is idling that the boost pressure sensor signal is less than 50 kPa for greater than 4 seconds continuously, or 50 seconds cumulative.

OR

• The ECM detects when the engine is idling that the boost pressure sensor signal plus a calibrated threshold is not within range of the BARO sensor for greater than 4 seconds continuously, or 50 seconds cumulative.

I had that code as well...ChevyMGR nailed it on the head....GM had to recalibrate my SS....After that it was all good....Get them to clear the codes then re-calibrate....
