Changing tunes for ECM

I have a downloadable Trifector tune in my car. Being I have some mild add ons like the K&N intake pipe (only) and a DIY hot intercooler pipe. I'm guessing if I send a download to Trifector nothing would change in the program I have now.
Would HP Tuners be the more logical switch for my basically stock SS ?

Neither of those mods require a tune catman. But, if you're planning on going further HPT is the only way to go. I'm actually going to be starting a learn and share thread for all of us to tune together!

It seems as of late it's harder and harder to get a decent tune. I prefer doing things on my own. If there are some who would rather still have remote tuning I could purchase a second unit with all HHR licenses.

I will say the Trifector did give me more boost than in stock form.
I'm guessing fuel and timing maps were changed to do this.
I thought an HP tune can change trans shifting unlike the Trifector.
I am familiar with "tables" some what, as I have a TPI 83 Monte Carlo with a programmable ECM that I can hook up to a laptop.
