Im a perfect example of this. My 3rd gear popped out of the trans before the clutch slipped
Also go look on the cobalt forum there is a company called Kentucky Clutch that is making some crazy clutches. They are having a group buy going on now. The cool thing about this company is that if they dont have it available they will make it for you

The price is pretty amazing too. Unless I have Competition Clutch do one for us then this will probably be my choice. The only down side is it is instant engagement, it does not slip at all

I just bought a new Spec 3+ clutch kit and new spec flywheel for
$590/shipped off a member on cobaltss.
I wasn't really looking at either, but to damn good of a deal to pass up.
He traded his Cobalt ss/tc in on a 2011 Mustang GT
