Electric Cutout on catted DP?

what about a cutout right after the DP, right after the connection for the midpipe. i already cut out the resonator and i have magnaflow muffler but i want it louder when i want it and i want it quiet on the highway so im thinking about a cutout. what are your guys opinions on cutouts?

I don't have a cutout on my SS....but I have electric cutouts on both my Z28 and my WS6 Trans Am...and maaaaaaaan does it sound good!

I've heard a couple of the LNF Cobalt SS's with cutouts...maybe it's just me....but a cutout on a 2.0 just doesn't do it for me...

You might ask Rob....pretty sure he's running a cutout on his SS.

I've read that the electric cutouts tend to leak after a while. Something to do with the motors. A standard cut-out that you manually unbolt might be a better option for you?

Well I don't want to have to get under the car every time I want to make it loud. Its probably the quality of the parts. I'm not very concerned about it

I have the McCord Power Plate on my Camaro...and it does leak a little...nothing major.

And I have the Quick Time Performance on my Trans Am. It doesn't leak....but it does tend to freeze up everyonce in a while. I have to smack the motor with a rubber mallet to get it going whenever it freezes up

I have had my cutout for about 5 mouths and I love it. No need to get under the car just hit the switch then boom your kickin ass taking names!! Just love how much of sleeper my car is. By the way as far the cutout leaking my hasn't leak yet and if it does leak I'll just fix it.
