Nyet. I was in the business years ago... had a custom shop in DFW. But now I'm just a computer nerd in Silicon Valley with too many personal projects.

Love the custom work, not to mention the time you've taken to do it yourself! My only question is, are you planning on putting any type of heat shielding in place on the gas tank, or on the pipes that are directly under it? I ask only because it looks to me like the exhaust "T" is sitting right under the tank.

There's a .75" air gap. The convective heat transfer is plenty, even sitting still. That's also not the tank you see... it's a metal cover over a polypropylene tank.

 

Ahh then I stand corrected. I'd rather know that you have all the bases covered than see your hard work destroyed or yourself hurt by a small oversight. Then again "better safe than sorry" never hurts either. Again, on a great looking custom exhaust! Enjoy.
