Finally, it holds!

More than confident in achieving goals now, left my beloved HHR @ ZZP for clutch install and received her back today .

Still logging in the break-in miles but the engagement and pedal are spot on, makes it a whole new vehicle to drive. Surprisingly similar to a Civic Si I've recently driven and complimented.

Now ZZP Stage4+ equipped, time to throw some more power at it .

How much was that clutch?? I'm assuming you meant now instead of not. Do you know if they had to add any shims?

Their 4+ is $779.99, $30 more than the standard 4 but will handle anything I could EVER throw at it. Piece of mind, but possibly a bit much for some and I understand that. Unsure on shims. I looked into KY too, and Chris there is a great person to talk to. However I'm clearly loyal to my local vendor ZZP and appreciate all they've done for me .

Good catch on the error, corrected .

Awesome! I'm dropping mine off next Friday for stage 3 clutch and 1.0 pcm. I will probably pick up a down pipe as well.

The drive back to the east side is going to be killer. Planning on back roads for break in...

Yep, best call! Where you live over there? Got a BBQ @ the end of May you should attend over on that side @ Hines Park.

I have an hour drive for some ink tomorrow, then off to some fights an hour from there, then 2 hours home so I plan on being golden after tomorrow. Got the trip odometer rolling!

I'm west of Ann Arbor. My office has a satellite branch in kentwood so I will work from there on Friday while they have the car.

Hines park isn't too far, I may have to stop by. What's the occasion / meet?

I see.

J-BOM BBQ, used to be an old j-body club, people have since moved on and now it's a wide array of cars, great group, bring a dish BBQ. Always starts the car season for me, gives everyone time to get theirs out and chat about what's been done over the winter.

Yeah, logged 250 miles on it, some fun in between the break-in @ higher RPM's. Definitely pulls much better, I could feel the slipping of the factory clutch @ those higher RPM's.
