Forge BPV, have one?

Does anyone have one on their HHR? Do you think it's worth over $100.00, I was planning on picking one up.

tons of cobalts have them. I had bad surging/fluttering with my stock valve and did the bypass mod the other day and it fixed it....3 minute mod, switching around some vacuum lines. I think the Forge is a really nice piece, it looks like it functions like a Tial. Get in on their group buy on the cobalt forum and save some $$$ cause the retail of I believe $149 is f***ing high...but to each their own. I would probably do this if I was planning on staying stock turbo

I think its worth it for peace of mind. No plastic to break, no diagphram to tear and no waiting to get a replacement one if it does tear or break.

What do you think is a fair price to pay, $150 seems a little steep IMO.

For a solid piece of metal that will never break, $150 doesn't seem like alot to me vs. the hassle of taking your car to the dealership or waiting for a a replacement part.

If your asking if it will give you more power, then the answer is no.

If I would have gotten the BNR K04-GT2860 instead of the K04-GT2871 turbo, I would have upgraded the factory BPV with a forge for sure. Heck I would have upgraded my factory K04 with it, I hate going to the dealer and I hate waiting on parts from GM.
Its not a matter of if the factory diaphragm tears, but when.

I don't know what to think of the price...an aftermarket bov from a reputable manufacturer is gonna run in the 150-250 range plus 30 bucks for a block off plate...so I suppose the price is actually not that bad for a quality piece

look over on the cobalt forum and there is a group buy and I think it's in the $100 range just hurry and get on the list like today cause it's getting full fast!!!!

Forge BPV.....just bought one....

missed out on the 1st GB over on the Cobalt forum, so I order one and now they do another GB.....
Received mine on Monday, glad I made the purchase. Did not install yet.
I do have to say though, that when I took out the Dejon spring and put the stock one back in last weekend, the factory diaphragm is still in one piece, looks new and that is with 70,000 miles.....
