? On GM Tune & Wastegate Mod

When I first got my SS I read about the wastegate mod, tried it, and was happy with the power while I had it...(for about a day) then returned it back to stock. Well I'm getting ready to get the GM stage kit and was wondering if I got it and did the wastegate mod again would I keep the power since the stage kits are not supposed to reduce the effects of our mods or would I even gain any power with the mod at all?

The short answer is No, it will not be learned out. I have a tune which has
the learn down turned off and I had to redo my wg mod when changing tune
to a lower boost setting. I saw more than 26 psi for 1/2 sec before I caught
it. Reset the wg mod for best boost response and stable boost control.
I am getting GM tune too and expect to adjust wg mod to work best with it.
Not enough tension on wg and turbo response is laggy, too much and boost
spikes to higher than you desire as wg can not fast enough cause of higher
tension from wg setting.

REMEMBER more boost without fuel= LEANER = many problems, possible to put holes in pistons, thats why a full reprogram with fuel boost and timing works best, running a little fat is ok but LEAN will kill parts, be sure to use premium fuel, IMHO shell is the best pump premium, been boosting 25+ for some time on my 174,900 mile hopped 1.8T VW, also colder air is very important for higher boost
