Hahn vs Magnaflow...

I'm looking to see if anyone has any soundclips of the Hahn exhaust? Aside from the Youtube undercar vid, I'm looking more for a sound clip of both exhausts on either a drive-by or WOT pass. I've heard the Magnaflow soundclip and I like it, just want to see which suits my tastes better. Anyone??

Never really thought soundclips were very good at replicating the real thing. But that said, I can still describe my Hahn system. For me, it the sound is perfect. Not at all raspy or obnoxious. Deep throaty and sounds great under throttle or just cruisng along. You can always hear it, but it does not intrude on your sound system. We just did a 2800 mile road trip and it was nice and mellow, not like some performance exhausts that grate on you. Sounds just fantastic every time running up through the gears.

That's good to know. I ask only because the exhaust that I had in my other car was fairly loud even with a cat, so I'm not looking for an "arrest me NOW" type of exhaust . From the videos posted so far, it looks to me like the Hahn exhaust is quieter than the Magnaflow. I like them both, but I'm leaning towards a "slightly" more stealth setup this time around. That to me might be worth the few extra $$. Quiet + Quick > Loud and Obnoxious!

Although I am sure Maganflow is pretty decent, The Hahn system is unreal as far as quality. You could truly have it fully exposed on a show car, it is that good. Super high quality polished stainless steel with perfect welds and perfectly smooth mandrel bends.

I have both an 08 HHRSS and a 07 Solstice GXP. The GXP has the Magnaflow on it and the SS has the Hahn system. To compare the two, the Magnaflow is ok but it has a deep drone at times. The Hahn system is perfect in my opinion and I really wish that Hahn made a system for the GXP. The Hahn system is quiet when you want it to be and bold when needed. I've put 10,000+ miles on the SS and it still sounds and looks great.

Excellent info turbo wanabe, that's part of what I'm looking for . The exhaust I had in my Neon was great, bu the drone got old real quick and I don't want that in my SS. And I agree with c2vette, after seeing the Youtube vid, that Hahn exhaust is gorgeous!

CIA has a great cat back system and sounds beautiful and quiet!
They can even add an extr resonator if you want in really quiet. That's the route I'm going.

I also have the CIA turbo back exhaust w/high flow cat, they use magnaflow and its very mellow unless I want to turn heads by down shifting or peddle to the metal, plus with there ball mill joints installation is a breeze

Since I'm new to the HHR modding world, are there any links to the CIA system?

Same with the MagnaFlow. My muffler guy said it was the best quality he had seen.
