Hann Pipes and TTR

Hey all,

Just bought some IC piping (finally) from TTR. I have a purchase or two from TTR in the past, but I was holding out to check on Clear Image Automotives IC piping, as their pricing was a little better than TTR. Long story short.. CIA sent me an exorbriant quote, that had nothing to do with what I wanted to purchase. thay basically got the part right but nothing else, and I was told that I would have to have a Trifecta tune (350.00) among other things, and that it would take roughly 6 weeks to get the parts.

For anyone making this purchase, get Aaron from TTR. piece of mind is worth a whole lot more than $100. IMO. my order was received and confirmed with no problems!

Thank-you TTR for being a stand-up business! hide me a set of Pedders, cuz thats my next purchase!

Thank-you Tom!

This is exactly my point(350). I was informed that a tune was needed to run the pipes(not so). I do intend to eventually add a tune on top of the GMTU. Just not until I am past warranty. there were also prices added for products I didn't even inquire about. I really felt like I wasn't being listened to at all.

TTR has always done right by me, and when I start looking for the Pedders coilovers I know exactly where to get them from. Aaron's customer service is awesome .

You DO NOT need a tune for charge piping.

BartSS,

Yes, I know that a tune is not needed. CAI was trying to tell me that it was needed to run charge pipes. I cannot stand when a business does that to a customer. For instance.... we just bought a living room set. the advertised price on the living room set didn't include scotch guard, delivery, etc. So their advertised price was actually several hundred more before it wound up in my house. CIA was doing the same thing by trying to sell me products that I didn't want or need.

Aaron and the gang from TTR have been nothing but AWESOME. TTR even had a back-to-school sale! I should have never misjuged them just to save a buck. lesson learned.

Now if this doesn't say it all........ I bought HANN Pipes from TTR because I trust TTR more than the company the pipes are comming from, since I don't know if they are finished moving to Floridia.
