What was the results? Can you post up the dyno graph with a/f ratio?

 

I witnessed a76marine attempt to dyno his, but it wouldn't run wide open. I forgot what the issue was. It only happened to his though, which is an auto.

 

i would assume he did not pull the fuses to deactivate the traction control.

I tried to have my atomatic w/ stage 1 run on a dyno day a few weeks ago. kept cutting off, them I found the thread about pulling the fuses in addition to turing off traction control. I have not been back yet. Waiting for the next $50 dyno day

If you dont pull the fuse out and youre dynoing an auto, ESC will go on because your front wheels are spinnin quite fast and the rear ones arent moving so the car freaks. Pull the fuse and all will be good

 

where is that fuse at?

 

in the fuse box lol.

I think I am going to go for an aftermarket tune on a spare ecu. Going by the poll here, a 60% chance of it working the first time out is not good enough odds for me.

The traction control fuses on my other car is under the hood. Look in the owners manual, it will either be in the cabin or under the hood in one of the fuse boxes.

 

When you do the tune on a different ECU be prepared for the security relearn.

 

I would think the STG1 install horrors should be pretty much worked out by now..to trade off warrenty for convenience is not cost effective. If you break down on the road and the tow company takes you to the nearest dealer, then what? Ins company isn't going to tow you to wherever unless you want to pay out of pocket..besides, even if they do screw up, its their dime and its still covered, ,,,,you don't have that option with the other tune.Don't get me wrong, not saying its bad, its just seeing this excuse for not getting the stg kit seems lame now that corrections have been made.
