Glad to hear you are enjoying your Magnaflow system! Our's is for the 2.4 motor so is a paltry 2.25" Dia. and while installing we had the same clearence problem! Two things you should consider when adjusting the hangers:

1) Pipe is already close to the gas tank on the otherside of the Spring perch :red:?

2) Our muffler seems to sit lower in the back (barely noticeable) so when adjusting the hanger(s) try to refrain from over adjusting as the muffler could sit at a larger rake or tilt :eek:!

Hey Kendall,

Gonna order one this week! Just don't know how much of an issue the clearence is on the SS version since it is New with limited info.....
