Need a tuner, Trifecta is not helping me....

Hi,

I bought a tune first thing, by far the best mod. I had some issues that were never fully resolved. My current tune works fine (finally programmed out P0101, thank you Vince) but it is nowhere near the performance I expect with these mods, I've been stuck at 12~14lbs of boost MAX.

Nothing against Vince/Trifecta, I just need someone that will respond to my emails and get me squared away out.

Located in Detroit, mods in my sig and willing to drive to meet someone.
Thanks
Joe

This is pretty much common knowledge among the HHR forum, but that boost pressure is stock...I mean you should see at least 21-22 psi depending on elevation...You may already know this...just trying to help

All my mods are listed in my sig, so NO I do not have the GM Stage 1 upgrade, its garbage :) I am extremely mad that I couldn't get more than 15lbs. I had 22-25lb on my first Trifecta tune but it was making the boost go up and down when on partial throttle which still happens now but I just gave up on fixing it since my emails aren't getting responded too and I must pay the local guy $50 each time to upload a tune while driving about 80 miles to meet him, with ZERO guarantee that this "update" will fix the issues I had....so that I the real reason I am not happy at all...I have not had a completely, 100% working tune since I paid the initial money for the deal.

I'm not trying to air my laundry but explain why I need help and I'm getting desperate here...I couldve gone over to the cobalt forums or clubs here in Detroit but I wanted to help this forum thrive, so I'd prefer an HHR guy.

Auto 2008 SS, this car is SLOW since I've installed the bigger innercooler and exhaust. Throttle response is non-existant from like 1/4-3/4 pedal, the shifting makes no sense and doesn't downshift into the power band...UGHHHH...

I need someone to custom tune me that is local.

Have you tried Motor City Tuning? They do Trifecta and are in the Troy/Rochester Hills area - 248-955-3131.

Also there is this guy:

Trifecta Independent Tuner: Jacob Frank
Jacob Frank
Serving: Detroit, MI and surrounding areas
Email: christinew1377@yahoo.com

@Woody @Xtreme
On there site it says they tune for Trifecta, just like the people I got to upload my tune here in Detroit, Motor City Tuning. Mike @ MCT was cool. I thought about just going out there, I gotta goto GR for work anyway...so I will call them and see what they offer. Thought I could catch a private tuner that could devote more time, on my side of the state through a thread.

@ATL
Maybe I got the code wrong, but my MAF was putting the car into limp mode because my car is really picking with the intake. It would throw a high/low code sending the car into LIMP mode. I could change the filter or intake setup slightly to fix the issue so I knew he car was running fine...Look at the title of this thread, I am looking for a new tune.

Zzp does not tune for trifecta. ZZP uses HP tuners software. Read my post again. They are THE BEST.
