i have an 09 ss and plan on getting the stage kit. the dealership parts guy here in cincinnati (jake sweeney chevy) said there were no listing for preformance parts for the 09 ss yet when i was looking to get an air intake. my question. does the stage kit work better with an aftermarket air intake or does it not matter and would show very little increase in power or preformance? i was leaning to the gmpp intake to avoid debates on warranty issues. thanks for any help you guys might give me.

 

The kit is not available for '09 but according to posts it my be released for '09 with-in the next week or so. The kit will allow any increased power due to a new intake to remain where as the production ( non-GMPP kit calibration) will learn out the power increase and return to production power levels.
