Parts Install

Am installing the CS intercooler, ZZP hotside pipe, and ZZP intake this weekend. For those of you that have done any or all of this, any tips to make it as smooth as possible? Do I need to pick anything extra up like new T-Clamps or anything to make it easier?

Also, I searched for it, but I couldn't find the thread that steps you through removing the front bumper. Anyone have it handy?

TIA

Just a warning....the CS Intercooler fits SUPER tight. It fits...be it's really really tight. ZZP's stuff fits really well. Did you order your hotside pipe with new silicone couplers and t bolt clamps? I did....but you really don't "have" to.

The bumper is easy to take off....about 10 minutes. I don't have a link handy to show you how it comes off. I'm sure somone else will chime in

I didn't splurge for the silicone couplers..maybe I should have, but like you said, I didn't think it was absolutely worth the cost. If it becomes an issue, I'll pick some up down the road.

They sent new clamps with the hot side pipe, though I am not sure if they are T-clamps. I assume they are..didn't really look to closely. Just saw them in the box...

They should be t-bolts, honestly I used the factory couplers on the hotside as well. No issues thus far.

Got everything installed today. Was looking at the hot side pipe and intercooler as being proactive items, not much on power right now but helpful down the road. Very pleased.

The intake on the other hand, am not sure if feel a big difference with it on, but it sure is louder now. Turbo sings and even the BOV seems to bark now. Am very pleased. Money well spent.

Next up, learn HPTuners and start writing myself a custom tune.

Let's see some pictures! I'd love to do that, but do not trust my installation abilities enough. I tried removing the cold side pipe and was afraid I was going to rip the connectors.

Here's a couple of pics, as requested. Before anyone says something, I know how dirty that engine bay is. A good scrubbing is on the agenda for next weekend.
