Im trying to get ducks in order for install and want to compare experience and price for install of Stage 1. Thanks! Im In far Southern Illinois but for a experienced install at dealership Ill drive a piece.

 

Rockenbach Chevy has done several on the forum. I guess they are the goto guys in Ill.

 

They are way up north though... and they are the ones that messed up the install on mine. I don't know if I had a bad tech or what, but they broke a part and tried to cover it up. It didn't fully fail for months, but took my local dealer awhile to troubleshoot. I wouldn't make the trip to them.

 

They did mine and I have no issues so far. They have done more than any dealer in the area. You could schedule it and wait as it only takes 1.5 hours.

 

Im gonna do some calling round, ty for the replies. See if confidence is there for more closer to me to install. I guess if we went all the way there, it sure would be a fun road trip on the way back with a Stage kit lol.

 

Rockenbach did mine too. I was the first HHR they did and no issues for almost 2 years now

When I bought my SS the Stage 1 tune was included in the price. I drove the car for a couple of weeks and the dealership installed it after break in.

Weber Chevrolet in Columbia Il.That's pretty close to Marion.

They installed the tune while I waited.

 

I live a bit further south and west. Near the Caton Farm and County Line intersection. I'm up near that Meijer for shopping etc pretty often as there's not much right by my area.

Sweet, thats alot closer. How long ya had your tune in? I guess they were aware of service issues then. Ill definantly be calling them.
