So you're saying that the Secret Service CAI won't work well unless you get a tune? What about the Stage upgrade you have though? Did you have to do any type of tuning with the Dejon intake you have in your sig?

I already checked your gallery...

Do you have any pictures of this intake????? Is it an AEM style with new piping, or does it sit in the intake box like the K&N? Speaking of AEM I wonder why they haven't come up with anything for the SS yet! They're usually at the forefront of these things.....

The market already has 3-4 and the number of SS's is small in comparison to other cars.

Nothing wrong wit hthe stock Air Box IMO. Air Flow isn't restricted in the stock box nor does it cause uneven airflow. Get a K&N filter and call it a day.

Correction to my last post. The air box is not over the exhaust manifold. That's the intake manifold it's mostly over yet the box still feels pretty warm after it's been running.

I'd rather get an AEM Dryflow. Those filters NEVER need any oiling, and they have a CAI kit for the Cobalt SS/TC. I did some research last night and I think I found a replacement filter that may fit in our stock airbox. In my mind, the perfect combination would be the K&N pipe that goes to the TB w/ a Dryflow filter. Now to see if I want to pony up the cash and be my own guinea pig, lol.

I was interested in a dry flow, instead of the KN, whats the part # you have for the dry flow you think will work in our stock air box?
