Stage 1 install and brake fix

I took my car in for the Stage 1 install and the brake fix. I was hoping they would order the parts for the brake fix and do both at the same time when the parts came in. My wife just called me at work and said they did the Stage 1 install but it would take 7-10 days for the brake parts to come in. I had thought I read on these forums that the brake fix need to be done first and then the Stage 1 installed. Should I be concerned that it's going to be done the other way around.....Thanks

You can get the brake fix done after the Stage 1, but they MUST reflash the ecm with a different Stage 1 code to allow the vacuum pump to operate.

I picked up my car today. It took them 5 hours to install. The service writer said the tech was on the phone with Chevy for most of the time. They had some computer issues, but wanted to make sure they got it right. True to their word, they only charged me 1.5 labor which was $150, so thumbs up to the dealer. So far no issues after driving the car home. I was in traffic, so I couldn't open it up much, however I was able to step on it at a stop sign near my home and churped the rear wheels. Brought a smile to my face. Hopefully the brake fix will go alright when I bring it back. Keeping my fingers crossed

It doesn't matter which one you install first. It has to be reflashed either way.

How do you churp the rear wheels with a front wheel drive?
