The incorrect version of the reflash was downloaded on mine during the initial installation due to the GM system reading my VIN as having no factory brake fix when in fact it does have it. One trip back to the dealer for a phone call to the GM tech center so the correct version could be re-downloaded and I was on my way with no problems since.

Mine was the 5 speed per chevy manager and the first one he did, the car had about 5000 miles on it when it was done, I now have 28000 miles and not a glitch, runs perfect

Most of the problems are install issues and not the tune nor the parts.

I followed someone's recommendation for a tech.
They installed it in 2.5 hours
Charged me for 2.0 hours as agreed by phone.
He did a great job including soldering the connections as I requested.

In the past 1000 or so miles since the install, the only problem seemed like a popped-off hose clamp but wasn't.
It must have been a loose connection that isn't loose anymore.
It seems I fixed it when I was moving the wiring harnesses around to see which hose connections have clamps.

We'll see if it stays right.
It pulled solid at 24 PSI +/- up to 115 MPH today.

No problems with mine either so far..really worth it, esp if ya got an automatic! You pick up almost twice the hp compared to a stick....Al

Had the kit for couple months and it can be goofy on mine at times. Mostly 20+psi. but sometimes can not go over 15psi.
Was just in for the water leak Again for a week and told them about a boost fluctuation and they told me it was "characteristic" and logged it with an engineer as normal.
Due to the much more added torque the front end on my auto wobbles under most throttle positions 1/2 and above.
Its like the axles are wrapping and unloading side to side. Kinda of annoying to me they say this is normal too.

I wish we could look at techs logged hours on each car like SS's and be able to find the good techs that have the most time logged successfully on each car.

I'm just not having good dealer success.

They finally fixed the front driver side massive water leak.

Over a quart of rainwater on the floor a couple times.

The first dealer I found drilled holes in the floor pan to aid in the draining I guess

And there the ones that installed Stg kit

Then had the hard brake problem the other day so I don't know if they reflashed it with the wrong calibration number.
And now the pump doesn't run or what I don't know.

How do I know for sure if my car has the brake update????

I had mine installed on May 28th when my HHR had 8,330mi. Roughly 2.5 months and 4,600mi later (12,982 on the odo today), I have not had even a hint of a problem.

I screened my installing dealer before I had the install done to insure that I was not their guinea pig and was very satisfied with the results.
