Stage1 MPG experience...check in

Please report in your experiences with mpg after the Stage1 install.

.....for those of you who CAN refrain from seeing how many times the pedal hits the metal!

^ There shouldn't be a difference because turbo spool is identical as long as you're staying out of boost.

there's been reports that the stage 1 kit improves mpg with normal driving. I think thats why OP is asking.

Full tank last time...29mpg combined city and highway. 33-34 mpg on highway consistently. Less throttle fun and I would have gotten better.

Average 26.7 W 80% city driving. Around 26.1-26.3 if I play at all. but 26.7 for just nice easy driving.

I did not see any gains, but mine stayed consistent, which is a good thing since my kit was added in early December before the really cold weather started. I am hoping to see a slight gain once the weather warms up a bit, but can't make that claim just yet.

I've had the upgrade since Jan 1 and I still haven't compaired my mileage Apples-to-Apples. I can't drive the car the same. I've tried but It's just too much fun with the power. I was about 26-28mpg pre-upgrade. After upgrade 23-24mpg and a blast! With warmer weather coming is should go up.

I ordered my kit. I heard that Rockenbach has about 59 back orders. They expect them to come in by Wed.
