Sweeeeeeetttttttttttttttttt

As you can tell that I'm a new SS owner. Picked up an 08 in Sunburst Orange this past Thursday.

Anywho, I'm been reading about the state 1 kit and the cost, benefits, etc. Yesterday I noticed a GM Performance Sticker on the underside of the hood. That got me thinking. Does this car already have the Stage 1 kit installed?

So just a few minutes ago I went out and checked. Sure enough, there's a sticker with the Part number #19212670 on the underside of the hood.

Winner, winner, chicken dinner. My car already has the Stage 1 kit installed. Time to move on to other good stuff now.

Congrats on your purchase !!!!!! Funny, same thing happened to me when I bought mine in Ohio back in May 2011.......plus customs screwed up on the taxes, taxing me on $4500 instead of $14,500....that day I saved nearly 3 grand !!!!!!! Now , if only every day was a ''Save 3 grand day'' !!!!!

Cheers, Roberto

Congrats on the new SS and bonus package. There should also be a sticker inside the fuel door that states "Premium Fuel Required". You should only use premium with the GM Turbo upgrade.

I'm seeing around 17 psi or so according to the quick glances I can give it at WOT.

Next mod will probably be an exhaust and/or intake. I'm even thinking about creating my own so it puts the air filter inside the fender.

I think HHR south did that and liked it, or it could have been Eric, or both. They said it worked.
