ok i would like to know if the motor for the 2.0 hhr turbo is the same as the 2.0 cobalt ss supercharged..

if they are infact the same would it be possable to swap a 2.0 cobalt ss supercharged motor into a hhr that has a blown motor i know that i would need a new harness for the wireing if the motor is a 2.2 / 2.4 hhr . but other then that and haveing to build exaust what else would i have to do ?

i know i need following
wireing harness
exaust
ecu

what else would i need.

i will be updateing this with info i get

Might also be concerned with whether the engine with the S/C will even fit in a HHR. Also, you'd need to check if the tranny, radiator, and other parts would be a correct fit/ be compatible with the SS motor.

The LNF motor installed in the HHR SS is not the same engine it has many different features such as the Cylinder head now has direct injection

i own a 06 cobalt ss/sc mom owns a hhr i found a wrecked hhr that im wanting to turn into a project car reason why i want to do the s/c is instant power no turbo to spool.

but then again i have not driven a turbo hhr yet.

gotta find one of the gateway hhr people that has one to take me for a lil spin

S/C is there faster, but you get more power with the turbo. I say go for it! lol

well if i can get the hhr that im looking at this will be a work in progress to high hell cause of my not having a job and my business taking off slowly.

but like i was asking what all would i need to swap the engine

just possibly sold my 17" Motegi Mr4 Wheels gunmetal im selling them for 250 +shipping
there 5x100 or 5x114.3

selling them to a guy with a cavalier just gotta send him pics of the rims
