Traction Control Changes Tune

Hey guys, ive heard of some people saying their Tune was setup to where when Traction Control was On it was stock. But when TC was turned off their tune was used. Can anyone tell me how to do this with my HPTuners. I would love to have that option for when the wife drives.

thanks!

That option was developed exclusively by trifecta. Based on what I've read, this option is not avail via HP tuners.

Engine > cutoff, dfco > cutoff rpm vs gear

Normal, short incr, and vss fail. Change the park/neutral in all three to what you want to launch at. They have to be the same in park/neutral cell. I would start with 2500 then go higher if need.

That's mighty handy info. Isn't that relative to launch control, though? I use the tq vs gear vs rpm table to limit wheelspin on launch.

What well happen is when the clutch is push in it well hold at the rpm you set it at. Then when you let off then it engage your good to go. What it does it cuts spark at that rpm. Its like a 2 step.

I seem to have one less pedal than you. I was thinking more along the lines of limiting wheel-spin when dropping down a gear to accelerate. I don't much use the launch control. I suppose if I ever made it to a track, this might change. It looks to me like the OP was referring to the button being used only to turn on/off the tune. (a la Trifecta hidden tune) XtremeSS is correct. No 'hide-a-tune' for HPT.
