Not very pretty, but a lot nicer on the cold mornings. Hockey tape on the seam to smooth it out and quicker than sewing it up. Probably get the Stainless steel ball for the warmer months. I am sure some of you could come up with a cleaner version.

 

Now i think ill have to order one in about a month or so

 

I just put an iPod sock over mine, works great.

 

So my leather kluge was just too ugly. Finally sprung for the TWM Stainless Steel Shifter Ball. The extra weight seems to smooth the shifting a bit as a bonus.

 

I like it, what did you end up using to paint the engraving?
