I would like to start with performance mods..What was your first mod?

The factory intake setup is pretty darn good the way it is designed and how it functions.
Not a lot to be gained with a CAI system on a stock engine. In fact, some aftermarket systems may even be a step backwards.

( OK. I'm ready for any negative comments to my post.)

A 'tune' is the best 1st mod.
if you were to do only one mod, a 'tune' would be it...
Good for 65 HP & 125' lbs of torque...

Yes it is....
Only the K&N intake system works, out of the box, for our 'buggys'

A 'tune' , Turbo-Tech engine mount, K&N intake system , mod the 2nd cat.
And your done, really no need to go farther...

I agree with Firemangeorge and 2005HHRauto, I would just add the TTR transmounts also and TTR rear sway bar, and keep her clean and drive it often!!

Talking

My first mod was k&n filter only but I would recommend a tune like the others have said. Second, and aftermarket intercooler is and ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE if your turning up the boost. The end tanks are plastic and prone to failure.

I've been collecting parts (K&N, TTR Mounts, HAHN Piping, Forge BPV) but I still need to work on the driver mod before my tune.

My first mod was lowering springs and an K&N filter in the stock air box.
