The question was asked "Why would they include the fuel sensors on cars if they don't have to?". What I posted answered that. Follow the thread.

um I'm pretty sure that it was established by the op in post #1 that it would require a tune to run E right? well then, there went the warranty then right???

Are you kidding bro??? E85 is like 110 octane. Vince at trifecta has almost everything worked out for us to run it and it will give us power

I think he forgot this thread was in the 2.0 section. It won't make a noticeable difference on a stock naturally aspirated ecotec, but there is a pretty big difference on just E47 for LNF's.

With the work Vince and ZZP are doing, we should be able to run E85 without any problems pretty soon.

Damn three pages, The reason i ask was my friend has a t70 on his trans am and hes running E85 so he can run 8psi on stock ls1 block saftly. It would be nice turn up the boost without blowing the block apart. When i ask about to run my camaro on E85 would need a tune and bigger injectors which i am running 42's lb injectors and wouldnt be a problem.

The 2.2 engine is actually rated 5hp more when using E85.
