Joe S.: How much bigger is the filer on this setup?
I just installed a K&N/AEM dry flow[no oil ever] filer for a Cobalt Injen intake. It's 6" larger dia. than the stock SS filer. Think the biggest filter you can stuff in there, will make some difference.
I did the filter/Forge valve boogie, and I could definately feel a pickup. Could have been combo of both, but bigger filter sure did'nt hurt things. It's for real. "Moon"

Joe S.: Yep, the filter you had on your Dejon intake, is the same one I have now.
I'm thinking with the pickup I felt, the bigger the filter, the better the results. Something woke up the animal, and now she takes bigger bites, and eats more. "Moon"

The ZZP is smaller in diameter, then about 2" longer in height. I'd say it probably is a wash between the two with surface area.

Didn't like my catch-can raising the intake, though I tested it with clay I was concerned about the hood strut. Figured I may help Shawn too.

That said I tinkered a bit and moved it to where the plastic holder once was (already threaded, waa-la), actually had a hex bolt from the SS/SC's old coil cover that I kept the set of .

Worked flawlessly-

It is TIGHT though, hoping the trans mount up front keeps the motor mount and catch-can from making love -

I'll inspect it again in a couple hundred miles.

Intake looks great! Looks even better with the hot side pipe and the coil cover too!
