ZZP LNF Intake
Have the money to buy one, and i do own HP Tuners. What i wanted to know is has anyone tuned for this yet? If so i was looking for some pointers
|
I have it and have tuned myself for it. It's just a matter of tuning the MAF to even out the fuel trims. It throws them way off.
|
Thats the only issue i thought i would have. Throw a cel at all?

i was having trouble with inlet temperatures, i took out the plastic shield next to the radiator and it dropped 20 degrees, helps a lot!

yeah, I need to remove the plastic shield. Before I tuned for the intake, I was throwing a bunch of codes and going into limp mode. Now, I just get the IAT code every few days.

I'm shooting for no codes at all. Maybe I'll just take it somewhere and get tuned for it, idk. Any chance you have a screen shot of your mad table? We have almost identical mods lol. Would at least give me a starting point

Yeah, I think I have one on my laptop. I'll see if I can post up something tonight. My fuel trims were initially really skewed, like +20. I got them down under +/- 2.00 and I just basically still have my MAF table set to all 1.00 after I tuned it via these instructions:

You mean MAF base table set to 1s. The key to wrapping it up with the base table is to go slow with it. Run the car a few days in-between any paste to that table so the LTFT can settle. Look at the hit counts on each cell and exclude some of the ones that are 1 hit, way off numbers.

you are correct Breadfan, MAF Base. Sorry about that.
