0-60 with Trifecta Tune

So now that it's been a few weeks with the Trifecta Tune, I figured I figured it was time to see what my 2.2 LT could do.

Per CJ's instructions, I popped her in I gear and gave her some gas to wake the tune up. By the 3rd time she was jumping ready to go! I stopped at the light, turned the ESC off, gripped the wheel with one hand and my phone with a stopwatch in the other. Light turned green and I floored it.

Going down the straight strip of road, she hit 60 in 7.75 seconds. With only the GMPP intake and GMPP exhaust with the trifecta tune, I don't think that's too bad for a grocery cart.

Love to see what she would do turbo or supercharged now though!

Would be great if you also had the Before Tune Time.

What Octane fuel was your tune set for.
What tranny setting if any.

With slicks, & 'boost-launching', under 4 seconds 0-60 MPH, with my turbo.
Also 1.6s, for 0-60 foot, at the track.

Silverfox, I timed my stock 2.2 5spd at 9 seconds flat to 60, and the 5spd's are quicker than the auto's.

Another thing that is common in performance tuning these engines is to remove the programmed enrichment delay. Because the throttle is drive-by-wire with no mechanical linkage, the factory gm tune will not give full power for the first couple seconds, rolling onto the gas gradually. This helps with fuel economy and smoother operation, but not helpful on the dragstrip.

Are you talking about the turbo engine?

No, 2.2 and 2.4. I don't know if it's on the lnf turbo, but there is some other limiting going on with the auto trans turbos to reduce stress on the transmission, i believe in the first two gears. I think i read that in the long thread on here from one of the gm engineers during development of the turbo upgrade kit. There's some good info in that thread.

I'm sure it was set for standard octane fuels since CJ didn't tell me to run a specific octane. I run 93 anyway since I get better MPG.

I do know CJ and Vince mentioned a tranny tune with it, but they didn't specify what exactly. I do know the car shifts harder/quicker than before, and when the tune is "awake" while in D gear it doesn't shift until 5-6000 RPM when giving moderate gas.

2.2/5 Speed
0-60=8.51
1/4=16.63
1/4 MPH=84.95

I was never able to track down any 2.2 auto numbers.
