I put a T 909 Turbo on our LS ( It's a little better fit than the T 924 on an LS), but I can't really say there's any change in performance because my Wife drives it! I do like the way it sounds though. And, from what I've read on the Forum, if you want something a bit louder you could go with a Magnaflow Muffler.

It's been quite a while since I put the T 909 on, but if I remember right, the tailpipe on the 2.2 is 2 1/4 in., and on the 2.4 it's 2 1/2 in.

Yeah, that's right! That occured to me after I had gone to bed last night. Those numbers didn't sound right after I thought about it The actual tailpipe size on the vehicles are 1 3/4 in. on the 2.2, and 2 in. on the 2.4. That's why I said the T 909 was a little better fit on an LS. Only have to swedge 1/4 in. instead of a 1/2 in. Incidently, I also put a T 909 on the '96 Altima that I use, and that does feel more peppy and responsive to me, besides sounding cool.

mines a 08,i disconnected exhaust from cat con, made 5 runs 0-60,0-100 ,and quart mile ,no difference from 5 stock runs. sounds faster though, in 2.2 i guess exhaust is not that restrictive. so i just removed muffler in back and put a straight pipe on,yes its noisy. mods that work are airraid intake, and oddly EF-1 pulstar plugs. lighten the load, no jack spare ,rear shelf, mobil 1 syn, lighter borbet wheels, im running to 60 in 8.3 seconds, from a 9.1 stock time. 06 models are slower to 60 around 10 secs, ,also have 6 less HP.hhrs need all the extra oomph they can get, big trick is put autos only, transmission in I drive and floor it they will miss gms 106-108 speed gonernor. i track tested this, wish ither gm cars would do same
