Look up AEM* Dryflow Performance air filter. Lifetime filter, no oil, & easily cleans with a bit of soapy water & rinse, let dry..

Cool regarding air filter(s)/K&N vs paper type: performance

I'm new here. This is my first (attempt) time to post a response. Don't really know how this works (posting). I have learned a number of things reading what you people post, and you put out some good info. Would liked to have seen the air filter question that B@work put out before I bought my K&N filter. Since its been in, my MPG's have taken a serious decline. I am going to see about getting my $'s back. It was doing much better with the original filter. I have 17K on my '10 ride. I think the paper/dry filter would be much better than the cotton fiber filter (with oil) as the K&N is. This seems more logical now that I've had some reflection on the matter AND good data from hhr knowledgeable people. PLEASE continue with the good words. THANK YOU.

Best of luck,
Does that make a difference? Anyone can jump in on this. I've not heard of leaving the box portion off due to transmission type. Thanks
