Airaid Filter Installed!

I came home yesterday & found a large box on my front porch. It was my Airaid Filter system! The box was huge:

Here's all the stuff:

The filter is huge. It's pre-oiled:

Here's what it looks like installed:

The air 'box' is pretty sturdy metal & the whole package looks well designed. On the test run around the block I noticed it had a quicker acceleration off the bottom. When you stomp on the gas it makes a low howling sound. Pretty wicked! I've got a rear sway-bar due here friday. Exhaust is next.

You'll enjoy it. I installed mine a couple years ago and just cleaned and reoiled the filter a few days ago.

Can you buy a replacement filter so you can have one ready to change out instead of going through the oiling when changing. Just be nice having extra filter.

Wow, that is big I had figured it was half that size. I would be tempted to make a functional hood scoop.

The filter design is pretty universal. I've seen replacements online & at the auto parts store.
