Boosted HHR?????

have anyone though about boosting the 2.2 any in a hhr with a supercharger or turbo?

there is a romour that next year a 2.2 superchared SS version HHR will be out.

probly not the cobalt SS uses the 2.2 so most likely if anything they will drop that into the HHR! Keep you guys/girls updated.

If you look at my Oklahoma auto show post in the region section you will see that chevy put a turbocharged 2.2 in their concept nomad. Puts out 250 hp (says them).

You canalready buy a supercharger for the 2.2L - if you gots the donkey chips:

Cobalt SS uses a 205-hp 2.0L Supercharged engine
Chevy has a turbo charger coming out for the 2.2 already from what i have read.

i am going to try to put one on my 2.2 by the end of the summer if all goes well with headers, exhaust and manifold.
