CGS Installed

Well I finally got to install my christmas present. First I will say this is the first time I have ever done ANYTHING like this. I looked over the directions that cam with it, took the laptop outside, pulled up Mike's how to and tossed the directions aside and used Mike's
Anyway I had it done yesterday and drove it a little. Took the wife with me asked her if she noticed anything. She said it did seem to have a little more pick up. Today I took the oldest for a ride and he also said the same thing.
I will say that it does seem to add a little to the HP. No I have no dynos to show, nor am I going to go get them done. But I will say I do notice a little bit and that is all I need to know it helped. After I have fun and burn off this tank of gas, I will be "nice" and see if the MPG is a little better.
In summary this was worth putting on my christmas list

I find the first part of your post funny becuse I took all the pictures and designed all the instructions for CGS for this intake! I actually gave them the file and all they do is print it.

In addition; your HHR will get "peppier" as you drive it - it takes about 50-100 (depending on conditions), for the ECM to adjust to the new intake. Once it does; watch out!

Enjoy it - and be sure to thank your wife again!

I havent hit a 100 yet (which is hard to do in SD) and i'm a very conservative driver.... but since i put the CGS on... i do have to look at the speedometer more... cuz i seem to keep passing everybody
